A hierarchical KPI System in the form of an Excel Workbook to evaluate the sustainability of a product across its life cycle.

• The score could be broken down to its sub-KPIs and raw data making it transparent and traceable.

• KPIs are defined in an industry-neutral way and can be applied across sectors

• The KPI system has a modular structure: KPIs can be added, removed, or replaced

• Companies can decide for themselves which KPIs they consider relevant for their product

One composite score built from five domains of sustainability: environmental impact, economic viability, circular efforts, resource efficiency and social impact.

• Pick and choose the relevant KPIs to your product.

• Gather available data to fill in the referred raw data.

• Define a minimum and maximum reference value and adapt the weights as needed.

• Use the defined formula to calculate and aggregate the values upwards to the Sustainability Score
