New career fields, bioplastics and cultural change in the industry - these topics and much more were the focus of our barcamp on  #CircularDesign  💡.



We brought together 45 representatives from companies in the plastics industry, industry associations, networks, researchers and students at a barcamp to discuss issues and challenges of circular value creation together.



🙋‍♀️ "The first barcamp was a great start, where we from the Innovation Campus for Sustainable Solutions project got to talk to many different players in the plastics industry OWL. It is an ideal event format for our transfer project: the companies were able to report on their challenges, we were able to provide impetus and found some starting points on which we will continue to work together and in an interdisciplinary manner,"  Melina Gurcke  summarizes. She is one of the organizers of the bar camp, an InCamS@BI technology scout and a staff member at  ITES - Institute for Technical Energy Systems  at  Bielefeld University .
